Monthly TBR | October 2018

Monthly TBR #1
Hello Lovelies! How are we all today? I still can't believe I'm back at university. It definitely has been a busy week getting back into the swing of things but I'm ready to get going and do the best as I can for my final year. I'm also going to try and make more time when it comes to reading as in my past years at university I have definitely neglected my reading. Today, I thought I would share with you all my October TBR and hopefully I can get all or at least most of the books read this month! Fingers crossed.

A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
I really want to read this book as 1. EVERYONE raves about it and tells me that I will be hooked and 2. it's recently been given it's own TV series and so I really want to read it before I watch the TV series! I absolutely love anything to do with witches too so I feel like this book will be somewhat perfect for me when it comes to my interests and it's a love story! So definitely perfect. This book is definitely a lot bigger than what I'm used to so we shall see if I manage to finish this book this month.

Carrie by Stephen King
My brother bought me 'Carrie' for Christmas and I have been saving this book to read during the Halloween month that is October as I think this book would be perfect as it is such a cult horror story classic. I have started reading this and so far it's a very different writing style than I'm used to but it definitely fits the story. I'm hoping that if I enjoy 'Carrie' I will pick up some more books by Stephen King but we shall see!

I've decided that I want to reread the Harry Potter books this autumn/winter as I just fancy a Harry Potter fix! I also want to annotate my books as I have just started to get into annotating my books and I thought it would be lovely to have my beloved Potter books annotated with all my thoughts and opinions. Make the books a little more personal to me. If I manage to finish Sorcerers Stone, I may even pick up Chamber of Secrets too!

So that is my October TBR. Hopefully I manage to read the books I have mentioned but like I said, we shall see as it all depends on how organised I am with university work and whether I put in enough time when it comes to my reading.

Until Next Time,

Tabitha xx
