Sakura Bath Bomb - A LUSH Review

Recently I took a trip into a LUSH store and I went a little bit crazy. I'm normally quite reserved when it comes to going into a LUSH store, I'd normally only buy 1 or maybe 2 products but this time around I bought quite a bit... No regrets. Seeing as I have bought quite a few products I thought I would share with you my views on each of the products as I always enjoyed reviewing LUSH products before! The product I will be reviewing today is the Sakura bath bomb!

LUSH DESCRIPTION
A Celebration of spring, bursting into a floral fragrance. Inspired by the cherry blossom in Japan, this pretty bomb is designed to evoke the burst of optimism the first sign of spring brings. Calming mimosa and jasmine oils are complemented by lemon oil and orange flower to bring to mind the smell of this colourful season.

MY VIEWS
If you are looking for a bath bomb with a very floral, beautiful aroma, then this bath bomb is for you. It's definitely not like their usual loud bath bombs with their bright colours and glitter pouring out of them, so if you are looking for a classic loud LUSH bath bomb then this bath bomb may disappoint you. I was definitely one of those disappointed LUSH fans however the scent definitely out-weighed the lack of colour. I can still smell the scent of this bath bomb on my skin the morning after using it. The scent is also so pretty and relaxing, I really enjoyed the relaxing aroma whilst I was submerged in the water reading a book. This bath bomb also fizzes away really quickly and releasing the smell quite quickly also, which could be a down side however I did not feel disappointed in how long this scent lasted. It also made my skin feel super soft and I 100% love it when bath bombs do that.

I definitely think this LUSH bath bomb is unique as it's not so loud in colour and I think that this bath bomb paired with a bubble bar or your favourite bubble bath soap would become the perfect pair. A very relaxing trio, especially used before bed!

Have you tried this bath bomb out? What's your favourite LUSH bath bomb?

  1. The bath bomb is really pretty despite the lack of colour in the bathtub!
