Fortnighlty Reflections - 21/06 - 05/07

#2

Another two weeks has flown by and it's time for the second instalment of my fortnightly reflections. So far I'm really enjoying these posts, it's a great way for me to look over the last two weeks and take note of what I have done. It's also great as it helps me to focus on the positives instead of the negatives, making me a happier being - which is always great.

Since my last FR post I have turned 21 and received my keys for my new university home, I felt and sounded so grown up when writing that sentence! Yesterday, Matt and I drove up to Chester to begin my move from my old accommodation to my new accommodation nd I am so happy to be moving. I'll be honest, I really didn't like living in my old flat. Don't get me wrong, there were some lovely people in my flat and I have in fact just moved in one of them again in our new little house but I just couldn't stand the living arrangements. Our kitchen was rank - like really so gross! But I guess what university accommodation doesn't have a gross kitchen!? Either way, I'm glad to be moving in to a house where there is only 3 of us instead of 15! It's also super close to campus too which is another bonus!

I turned 21 on Sunday and it's was lovely. I didn't do anything overly special on my actual birthday other being spoilt with gifts however on the 25th June I took a trip to the sky garden in London with my mum, brother and Matt, it was so pretty. You really do feel like your in a jungle up there! I'm going to be publishing a post on that soon, so keep your eyes open for that. On the subject of birthdays, Matt and I also celebrated his 21st too, albeit rather late 21st celebration but a celebration nonetheless. I surprised him with tickets to see Wicked and I didn't tell him until we were sat down in Prezzo before the show, so it was a wonderful evening a celebration and we both enjoyed our night thoroughly!

Another fab thing that has happened in the last two weeks is that I met Abbey from Abbey Louisa Rose! Abbey and I have been writing letters to one another for almost a year now and so when she told me she was going to visiting Paradise Wildlife Park which is only 20 minutes away from me, I just had to go visit her! It's also a plus that I'm actually an annul pass holder at Paradise Wildlife Park as well so I didn't need to worry about the admission fee. It was such a lovely day and we both got on so well, it was just so lovely being able to talk to someone about blogging and understanding what I meant. It was so refreshing. I honestly can't wait to meet up with her again and she was an absolute darling.

I honestly love writing the posts, it's so lovely to look back on what I have done. I can't wait to write more of these posts and share more with you. I hope you like these posts too! Let me know what you have been up to in the last two weeks, I would love to know.
