...Always Dreaming...

2016 Highlights

Hey Cats! =^.^=

Firstly, I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas break and you've been relaxing in the Christmas cheer all week. Today is the last day of 2016 and I just can't believe how much has happened this past year. Within this post I thought I would discuss my highlights of 2016 as I just think so much has happened that I feel so grateful for. I will then be uploading a 2017 resolution post later on in the week so definitely keep an out for that!

2016 Highlights

01. DisneyWorld
I can't even begin how grateful I was and still am for being able to go to DisneyWorld this year. I have been dreaming of going to this magical place for as long as I can remember and to be able to go with someone so special was just truly amazing. I got to meet so many characters that I absolutely adore, including Lilo and Stitch. I also turned 20 when I was out there and my boyfriend managed to get us a table at the Royal Table (which is the restaurant in Cinderella's Castle) and it was truly magical and special in so many ways. This trip has also encouraged me to definitely get a job out there in 2018 which I hope I can achieve next year.

02. Going To University
If you asked me 2 to 4 years ago, do you think you'll go to university? I would definitely say I doubt it. However, this year I started my first year at the University of Chester. Don't get me wrong university has it's ups and downs but the ups definitely out shine the downs. I absolutely love my course and the friends I have made there. Uni has already helped me so much, especially in my confidence. If I'm honest, I still can't believe I'm a uni student. Here's to another 2 1/2 years at uni!

03. Making Amazing Blogger Friends Through #BeeChat
This year I was introduced to the #beechat community and I'm so happy that I found it. Not only has #beechat allowed me to expand my blog it's also expanded my blogger friend circle. I have made some amazing friends and I love that I take part in the #snailmail community within #beechat, as it's allowed me to get close to so many other bloggers. Shout out to Charlene who welcomed me into the family with open arms.

04. Three Year Anniversary of Matt and I
This year marked mine and Matt's three year anniversary of being a couple. We've had our bumps in the road but we've also over come them and we are now stronger than ever, especially now that we have to deal with the 4hr distance between us whilst I'm at uni. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.

05. Being Introduced to Volleyball and Trampolining
Since joining university I have been introduced to two sports that I now love. I originally only wanted to join trampolining but I'm glad I went to the volleyball tryouts as now I have made some great friends through both teams. I don't think I would enjoy uni as much as I do if I didn't join a sports team, so I definitely recommend joining a sports team or society group if you haven't already at your uni!

And they were my 2016 highlights, so much more happened this year but I didn't want to flood this post with too much. How has your 2016 been? Did you have any highlights similar to mine? I would love to know in the comments down below.

Ta ta for now cats,
